Data changelog — how WorldFreightHub data is updated
This page records when WorldFreightHub data and content changed, and how each data type is kept current. The entries are drawn from the site's commit history and data-layer review dates.
Data update principles
- Duty, VAT and compliance rules are HIGH confidence and reviewed monthly against primary government and standards sources.
- Freight rates and transit times are indicative ranges labelled LOW or MEDIUM confidence and carry the last review date. They are not live quotes.
- Every data point carries Source + Date + Confidence so readers can trace how it was established and when it was last checked.
Data update cadence
- Duty / VAT / compliance rules: Monthly review against ZATCA, Dubai Customs, SASO and other primary sources.
- Freight rates / transit times: Indicative ranges refreshed with the monthly review, not live quotes.
- Port / route profiles: Quarterly review.
- Provider directory: Rolling verification, with a recorded lastVerified date.
Cadence describes the review cycle, not a guarantee that a source changed on that date. When a primary source changes earlier, the page is updated to match.
