What we do
WorldFreightHub is a freight intelligence and logistics research platform operated by YIWU DINGWEI TRADING COMPANY, established in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China in 2025.
WorldFreightHub is a data-driven reference for importers, exporters, freight forwarders and customs brokers moving goods between China and the Gulf Cooperation Council. We organize shipping routes, ports, destination countries, freight methods and practical tools into a single, well-structured resource — so a first-time importer and a seasoned forwarder can both find the same verified facts in one place.
The coverage spans the entire corridor: six GCC destination countries with their duty, VAT and compliance rules; 21 China-to-GCC routes with indicative transit times and cost ranges; 19 port profiles from Shanghai and Ningbo-Zhoushan to Jeddah and Jebel Ali; a freight glossary; and a directory of 103 freight providers, each source-documented against its own website or a third-party directory.
Why WorldFreightHub is different
Most freight websites are written by freight forwarders to sell their own service — which is why so much freight content quietly steers you toward a particular vendor. WorldFreightHub is built the opposite way: it is a neutral reference that does not sell freight. Editorial content is separated from commercial provider listings, and every data point carries a source and a confidence label — that separation is documented in our methodology.
- No vendor to protect. We are not a forwarder, so we have no incentive to inflate a route, hide a fee or recommend one provider over another.
- Source-backed, not guessed. Every rate, rule and transit figure is tied to a primary source where one exists — a port authority, customs authority, carrier or official registry.
- Honest about uncertainty. Figures that cannot be verified are labelled LOW confidence and flagged "verify before relying" rather than padded with a plausible-looking number.
Our principles
- Static first. Fast, reliable pages built without unnecessary client-side runtime — the site renders cleanly and loads quickly on any device.
- Data driven. Every page is generated from structured source data, so the same fact is never written twice or contradicted across pages.
- Zero fabricated data. We do not invent rates, transit times, reviews or ratings. Every number is either sourced from a primary authority or explicitly marked as an estimate with a confidence level.
- Verification first. Directory listings and contact details are published only after source-documented confirmation, and everything self-reported is labelled as such.
What we don't do
We do not publish live prices, schedules or quotes, and we do not invent reviews, ratings or figures. We are not a freight forwarder, a customs broker or a marketplace — we are an information resource. When you need a firm price, our get-quote form routes your request to a provider on the corridor, and that provider quotes your specific shipment.
Who is behind WorldFreightHub
WorldFreightHub is operated by YIWU DINGWEI TRADING COMPANY, established in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China in 2025. All research, writing and review is done by the WorldFreightHub Research Desk — an internal editorial desk, not an individual author.
We do not present named bylines, invented personas or fabricated credentials. The Research Desk is the named author entity for every page: it signs the content, owns the data records and answers for corrections. That entity is a team function of the operating company, not a person.
How the Research Desk works
- Attribution. Every page is signed WorldFreightHub Research Desk in the page footer and schema metadata, so responsibility is always traceable to the desk rather than a name that cannot be checked.
- Research. Desk researchers collect figures from the approved source registry (customs authorities, port authorities, carriers and official indices) and file dated research notes for each collection run.
- Review. A second desk pass cross-checks every extracted value against its source before it enters the data files; figures that cannot be verified are downgraded to LOW confidence or withheld.
- Evidence ledger. Core claims are registered in the evidence graph (claim, source, entity, date, region, confidence, extracted value, reviewer, expiry) so any published number can be re-checked against the record that produced it.
